[Libtorrent-devel] Feature request (Speedup)

I would request a feature which makes more connections to some peers, where
distance and or routing is broken between peers, but where connection-speed
really exists.

Lets have a real (madeup) problem:

(We)Host A. 100Mbit Connection (Europe)
(He)Host B. 100Mbit Connection (Asia)

When they are getting connected to each other the speed will perhaps only be
x*, but n (where n is a integer) will higher the speed with : (x*n)

eg, lets say (We) [look above] get 125kb/sec from (He) [look above], But by
adding another child between (We)->(He) we will get another connection with
125kb/sec from (He) aswell. (2x125kb/sec instead of 1x125kb/sec)

You could also do some really nice (raid/port-aggregation/link-aggregation,
connection between the 2 diffrent hosts, which would make the cpu/mem-usage
abit lower.)

* x0 (the number represnts the childname etc) is the current speed <base>,
example code for checking speed could be if (x0+x1 > x0*1.5),

What do you think about this?, Would'nt it really speedup the
torrent-community ALOT?
Everyones dream is to max out their pipes at 100% in both directions.

//Erica :)
