[Libtorrent-devel] reserving disk space

hi, new to the list. i'm trying out rtorrent as there aren't any mac
bittorrent clients (besides azureus) that let you select which files
from a torrent to download.

i've been successfully telling rtorrent which files to download and
which to skip, but i notice that it still creates files, and reserves
disk space, for everything in the torrent. for example i was
downloading one 350mb file from a 9.something gig torrent, but it
still created 20-odd files which took up 9.something gig.

is there any way to change this behaviour, so that space isn't
reserved for unwanted files? if it's relevant, i'm using rtorrent
0.7.1 from macports.
