I've been working on DHT support, you can find a working patch for  
(currently) latest svn at http://tk.ttdpatch.net/~jdrexler/dht/

It works fine but needs some minor fixes to adhere to rakshasa's  
style guidelines so he may approve and include it in the rtorrent  
code. I've been busy with other things so haven't had time to do that  
yet, which is why it's still only a patch.
