Hi,
i'm having some troubles compiling rtorrent on hadrened gentoo
since rtorrent r1041, when it starts compiling dht_manager.cc, the cc1plus
eats up all the memory and the swap (more than 1GB - usually cc1plus fits in
50MB for this file), stops, and the make process exits with a g++ internal
error (which is propably caused by the out of memory problem - i was told to
ignore it in this case)
here's what happens exactly => http://pastebin.com/f7ac0ee33
rtorrent versions before 1041, and all the libtorrent version can be
compiled without problem
i tried to compile with and without xmlrpc-c support, also tried all the -O
switches - nothing helped
i'm using gcc version 3.4.6 (Gentoo Hardened 3.4.6-r2 p1.5, ssp-3.4.6-1.0,
pie-8.7.10), on gentoo-hardened
upgrading gcc is not really an option for me, since on gentoo gcc 4.* is
hardmasked
