[Libtorrent-devel] Issue while compiling rtorrent 0.8.2

Hello,

I'm the maintainer of rtorrent/libtorrent for debian. I recently found
out a little issue, the ./configure doesn't recognize my xmlrpc-c
package... I get a:

checking for STUFF... yes
checking for XMLRPC-C... failed
configure: error: Could not compile XMLRPC-C test.
make: *** [config.status] Error 1

I thought that could be an issue in my cowbuilder, but I tested it in my
pbuilder as well (both are clean chroot environments) and failed in the
same way as well as with my machine natively, so I thought of running
the same test that is supposed to be ran in the configure and guess what
I got:

dpkg-source: info: building rtorrent in rtorrent_0.8.2-1.dsc
 debian/rules build
test -x debian/rules
xmlrpc-c-config --version
1.06.27

It exists!!

Any thought anyone?
