It happend to me too, with just a single small multi-file torrent:

Caught Segmentation fault, dumping stack:
0 rtorrent [0x807f69d]
1 rtorrent [0x8083416]
2 [0xb8091400]
3
/usr/local/lib/libtorrent.so.11(_ZN7torrent9PollEPoll7performEv+0x78)
[0xb7e515f8]
4 rtorrent [0x80c1b26]
5 rtorrent [0x807ea0a]
6 /lib/libc.so.6(__libc_start_main+0xe0) [0xb7a92390]
7 rtorrent(_ZNK7torrent8FileList14free_diskspaceEv+0x95) [0x80524e1]

I'm gonna check now if that could be caused by some stale old lib,
but I doubt it - when I update rtorrent/libtorrent the procedure is
to remove the previous version before installing the new one.

Sempron, gcc-Version 4.2.4 on Slackware (12.1 and -current) installed
with the usual magic (configure && make && make install)
