Well, on the server I still use the latest stable, and that has been
rock-solid. On my desktop machine I don't torrent that much,
just the occasional quick fix. But the patch Josef supplied seems to
work, I haven't had any crashes since. YMMV. 

I guess I can stress-test that patched version this weekend, got some
very active torrent to swarm into once I get enough space freed.

So, to sum it up: Don't be afraid to test the patch yourself ;)
