Hi,

I am running rTorrent 0.8.2/0.12.2 on Ubuntu 8.10 (2.6.27-7-generic) with
MoBlock 0.9rc2.

After less than a day or so rtorrent just doesnt want to download anything
further. It runs and is perfectly responsive but just doesnt "work". No
errors are logged by either rtorrent or syslog.

ulimit -n is set at 2048. (have tried 1024 and 50000 to experiment - same
result)

Memory is as follows when it hits this state:

free -o
total used free shared buffers cached
Mem: 514356 507464 6892 0 22264 391892
Swap: 9871900 4756 9867144

free -m
total used free shared buffers cached
Mem: 502 495 6 0 21 382
-/+ buffers/cache: 91 411
Swap: 9640 4 9635

>From netstat I have maybe about 10 connections outgoing mostly in SYN_SENT
state
to the trackers and just one in ESTABLISHED state.

Firewall is on a separate box - even if I clear fw states or reset the fw it
doesnt fix this. Starting rtorrent and restarting doesnt. Only thing seems
to work is a reboot of the rtorrent box.

Before the system hits this state I have 12 torrents going up to 2.5 mb/sec
downloading.

Can anyone suggest anything I can fix?
